By accessing or using the Rhymebook API ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Rhymebook provides a phonetic intelligence API for finding rhymes, analyzing phonetics, and generating lyrical content. The Service includes REST API endpoints, documentation, and related tools.

3. API Usage

You agree to use the API in accordance with the rate limits and usage policies associated with your subscription tier. Excessive usage, abuse, or attempts to circumvent rate limits may result in suspension of your API access.

  • Free tier: 1,000 requests/month, 10 requests/minute
  • Pro tier: 500,000 requests/month, 300 requests/minute
  • Enterprise tier: Custom limits as agreed

4. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to reverse engineer or extract the underlying data or algorithms
  • Resell API access without written permission
  • Use the Service to generate harmful, abusive, or hateful content
  • Exceed your rate limits or circumvent access controls

5. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its algorithms, data, and documentation, is owned by Rhymebook. You retain ownership of any content you create using the Service. We claim no rights over lyrics or creative works generated with our tools.

6. Payment and Billing

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis. You may cancel at any time, and your access will continue until the end of the current billing period.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
